Thank you. Please keep in mind maps like Shingle where it is the EU who assaults, not PAC. Just a reminder.

Re: Mondays and Fridays
edit: Main server is up but we are not able to switch to inf only for the moment. We will run the event Tues if we can't get it done today. The second server is up for inf only if players really want to play that today.
edit2: All fixed - monday event started.

Re: Mondays and Fridays
These events have been running for a while now, and I have to say they've been a great success. Armor night last night was really fun, v.close games with some fantastic teamwork. The server wasn't full of TG's and there was quite a lot of rule breaking going on by pubbies, but on the flip side of that, there were some very enthusiastic non- TG players who added to the enjoyment.
Many thanks to the admins for dealing with the bunnyhoppers every other minute.

Re: Mondays and Fridays
I truly want to also thank all the admins for dealing with the headaches of gamers that don't listen to rules and have to take time out of their own gaming to handle it. Great Job guys

Re: Mondays and Fridays
I love the inf only Monday night matches, however last night was the first time I got a chance to sit down for more then an hour and played the full rotation and I noticed two things I would like to suggest for next time.
1) Have two Minsk back to back. Minsk often is a punishing map, in my opinion probably the most punishing map, therefore, it would be nice that both teams get a chance to be on the giving and receiving end of it. Its not a common map to see in the regular rotation so I don't think people will mind having two rounds on it in a row. The other solution is to take it out completely, which I think it less ideal, though perhaps more manageable.
2) 16p Verdun is a much more enjoyable map than 32p Verdun. 32p Verdun in my opinion it has horrible flow, half the game you spend just running from one place to another so it ends up being short periods of crazy activity when you attack / defend a flag, followed by long periods of slowness waiting for your squad or the enemy squad to hoof it back to the fight.
Just my 0.02

If there ever was an environment where having a sniper squad would be useful...

Having a "Sniper Squad" is never useful... Having a sniper in every squad, could be very useful...

Re: Mondays and Fridays
has anyone played a game of 16p verdun recently with a full server on infantry only night where the first team to capture church didn't win? That's not necessarily a terrible thing, but I am curious... it always seems to me to be the game is decided within the first couple of minutes. That's not necessarily any different than tunis, though!

Re: Mondays and Fridays
Around 3 weeks back:
- We played a game where we OUTKILLD bleed from chruch
- I led a Squad capping church back when the enemy had it first
16 player maps like verdun and shuiha on infantry night are a low risk, high reward situation. You have a risk of it going stale BUT you also have a hugh potential for a great fight. If things roll bad... 100 tickets only... no waiting freaking 1.5 hours till 64 shuiha is over....
64 Shuiha is a high risk, lo reward thing. High risk in it going bad and then having to wait out 300 armor tickets.... that doesn´t really compensate for the few great rounds I had on there

Re: Mondays and Fridays
Yeah, could have lived without the 32P Verdun last night. The tiny Verdun is way more fun!
