Welcome to TG! Yep, we're an open community. Just read through all the wonderful Dreah has provided you with. If my computer were working, I'd say "squad up with me!" But for now, I'll settle for just saying welcome.

Re: Howdy guys!
To be honest, stats are not really that important here. The most important thing is that you play as a teamplayer, and with tactics in mind.
If you really like the server, consider becoming a supporting member and get a reserved slot! You can also get an e-mail, webspace, and the ability to join an In House Squad(join the 128th).

Re: Howdy guys!
true! besides, the people here will help you with any ideas or improvements you want to make, and you will see your stats rise almost by default, just by squadding up and following orders. And don't be afraid to ask something, even if you feel foolish, we do our best not to make you feel that way.
I bounced around with TG tags without being a supporting member for a couple months, just to make sure it was a place I wanted to spend my money. Since becoming one, i think its the best money I've spent on gaming since buying this game.
Welcome to TG!!I got yer Dancing With the F**&ing Stars right here!!

Re: Howdy guys!
Your stats and abilities/skills are secondary to teamwork and cooperation here. Just give it your best shot, and I promise I won't let Flik yell at you if you accidentally make a mistake.

Re: Howdy guys!
Hi, at TG we don't care about skill. What we care about is your willingness to follow the rules, your willingness to be a team player, and your willingness to be a good sport even when you lose.
Your skills will improve while you are here, so don't worry how good you are now. We can show you the ropes if you need help.
When playing, you should pay attention to how the In House Squads operate. Each IHS operates in their own style of play. They can teach you the proper way to play by setting an example for you to follow while in game.
Also, ignore my friend's comments about joining In House Squads. You should worry about getting familiar with the way TG works, not about joining a group of players that you do not know very well. Consider buying a Supporting Membership account if you want to have reserved slots on servers and the ability to join a Supporting Membership IHS. (I have been here for over two years and I still have not bought a Supporting Membership account. You do not need a SM account to be on TG, but if you want some benefits, then you can purchase an SM account.)
Once you have found a group of players you like playing with, think about asking for permission to join their IHS, if you have a Supporting Membership account of course. If you do not have a Supporting Membership account, you can join the Irregulars.
We are not scary, in fact, the majority of us welcome players that try to respect our standards. Don't feel intimidated when you want to ask questions, the staff (and hopefully older players too) are easy to interact with, sometimes laid back, (*Looks at Fubar and XPeriment.*) and should be able to answer your questions. Oh, and don't worry, the new guys are easy to deal with too.

Re: Howdy guys!
That's true...just for you though. I am not sure if everyone has knifed you yet or not? But since I haven't seen the TG tags on you, I would assume that everyone hasn't knifed you yet.
Come-on TG...Bladecutter wants his tags... Let's show him how much of a team player we are and knife him ASAP.|TG| RoadWarrior
