20-30 second delay at the beginning of a round...

I was wondering if we could have everyone wait 20-30 seconds after the initial start of a round after you have the ability to spawn in.

I think the squads I have been running have a problem that can be solved by adding 20-30 seconds of no action before the battle commences.

I know a lot of the other squads have time to practice and scrimm and play in leagues, but some of us don't have that luxury and I'd like 20-30 seconds to warm up with my squad mates, chat and get to know each other a little bit. We are seriously out of shape and some calisthenics before we go into battle could warm our bodies up a little bit and prevent those horrendous leg cramps I get from running at the start of a round...or the finger cramps that cause me to switch to a medic or supply hub when attempting to shoot an enemy soldier that just popped up on me.

So if we could agree to this, I would appreciate it. I would just have my squad spawn on me and do the calisthenics while everyone else runs off to murder the opposing team, but I'd still like to contribute to my team and we know how much can happen in 20-30 seconds.

    Thank you for your time.

Sounds like a great idea! I need the extra 20-30 seconds just to figure out which direction I'm facing in the UCB after spawing, so I can find my way out to the battlefield.

The only issue is all the pubs who come in a join won't abide by it.

Hahaha, it would be like just the entire team out in the middle of the road switching weapons and teabagging.

Some already don't understand the 2 minute wait!
And those same few don't hold spawn when we ask anyway..

I think after the first few rounds you should be warm enough!

And what if I want to try and force an IDS/PDS crash? How will I do it after the initial 30 seconds??

I say we alleviate the issues the admins face and just TK the noobs that don't do what we tell them too, I mean the entire team TKing them might make them stop

Plus we know how much the admin team loves a challenge, let us let them RISE to the occassion.

As for forcing an IDS crash, you'd still be in game, so you could still force a crash, it would be part of your warm up.

New people are joining all of the time, we don't want to risk their soldiers being injured do to an improper warmup...sure get them shot and killed is fine, but a ripped muscle is no joking matter. This is why I always make my squad WALK not run to our first flag.

Feel free to take as long as you desire to warm up in the uncap while Damonte is on the other team when playing maps such as Fall of Berlin, Minsnk, Cerbere Landing, Suez Canal and Operation Shingle.

That is jusjust enough time for me to cap your back flag, please wait until it is turned. Also, please be commander and order you entire team to do the same....hold for 30 seconds. Much appreciated and you have my support in this!

Re: 20-30 second delay at the beginning of a round...

Hell, I'll enforce it. Everyone must spawn in and wait 30 seconds now at the start of a round. This'll help prevent squad bombs which are now considered an exploit. Now that I think of it, spawning on an SL isn't a realistic renforcement. No one shall spawn on SLs, Only white spawn locations. This'll makes renforcements more realistic since your troops must get to your squad rather than instantly appear behind your SL. SLBs still may be used!
