I'm fortunate enough to have a PC for gaming and a 21" iMac for family use (especially when I'm gaming

). Though I have Vista (32 bit) loaded via Boot Camp, I haven't had the time or motivation to install BF212+NS+TeamSpeak+n52 Geekpad+2142cc, etc. I'm glad I have both. I do wonder how it would work on the Mac.

I was thiiis close to making it tomorrow, but we figured we'd give people some time to get Northern Strike installed and working properly first.

It's a shame you have to uninstall 2142, to install NS and get it working. I plan on being there.

Don't forget the install/re-install order:

Uninstall 2142 completely
Install BF2142
Install Patch 1.4
Install Northern Strike
Install Patch 1.4
Install Patch 1.5
Manually Update PB
Pray.

They really are not too hard to get if you know the places to watch for infantry. I was able to get all five on my first shot with my other solder. All while helping the team by taking out armor with the TV missiles and harassing the Goliath on Port B.

Just throw an IDS on the speeder and watch the mini map. Then line up the shot early and enjoy the sound of squish.

I support NS maps on TG, as you just can't get decent NS games in anywhere else.

I will miss those who don't have it though..

I don't know if it came up already but it appears that person who is trying to join server running NS maps and doesn't have NS can't join the server.

So even if its Tunis Harbor that we're playing they are not able to join because it gives error message on join! Can any one confirm this as I heard it from LK (not trustworthy... j/k

)

Wrong. People that don´t have the NS Expansion just get a kick from the Server. They can still play normal maps
