Would you mind posting a link to, or posting here the usual rule sets for this event?

Here at TG we play with a pretty defined and strict set of rules, which include no bunnyhopping/dolphin diving, no jihading/suicide tactics/ no ramming, etc...

We would like to know what sorts of things the enemy will likely use to their advantage concerning the rules.

Absolutely, we currently have a base set of rules in place at the ladder database right now, and the link to that is battlestats.com/events/?2768. We also have an Xfire group, the link to that is xfire.com/clans/tadladder/. Please join the group and all updates will be placed on the web site as they become available.

Alright, I went to the link you provided, and while there is a section for rules regarding disputes, I was more interested in in-game rules, as I mentioned in my previous post. If it's anything goes, we might be more cautious in entering because there are a lot of game mechanic exploits that many clans use that we at TG do not condone.

Don't sit out just because TG doesn't bunnyhop. Play as you normally would, if the other team is jumping, shoot them. If they've perfected bunnyhopping, do something about it and fight them another way.

I'll check out the ladder later this weekend, might be something the 3rd would be interested in.

For those that are interested, do yourselves and the other teams a favor and make sure your full roster more than double the team size you need to field. If you're supposed to field 5 folks, make sure you have a pool of over 10 to make a roster with, because if you can't get those 5 dedicate people (plus reserves) per match, it will stress your captains out big time.

And regarding the ruleset for the ladder (bunny hopping, jihad, etc), remember that you are not bound by TG's server rules when you are not playing on a TG server. What you are bound to is the code of conduct as well as the rule of the servers you will be playing on (which will be league rules). If you choose to play it by TG's ruleset, more power to you, just don't expect the other teams to do the same

I have read the revised link's info, and find it welcoming, informative, and most of all very TG friendly. I think quite a few IHSes will find this a fun experience.

Hello! I am Lance Corporal Soopersized.
I am also from |TAD| and I was helping about a bit with the ladder. I look forward to playing with you guys and we ensure that the servers a well maintained. I for one am an admin on the server however we also purchased a non-dedicated server to ensure that none of the stats are fallowed.
I have played on your servers from time to time and I respect you guys as very good players. I hope to see a good turn out from you guys! Well bring our A team and hope you do the same!

Sounds interesting, I haven't played any ladders in quite a while. Since the 7th glory days.
