And we're back after a bit of a break! This week will be sure to see some controversy. It's an alternative KDR!
For detailed information on this series, as well as information on HOW to do it, please visit the
original thread.

AWARD NAME: Alternate KDR
Please find the total number weapons kills add them to your total number of vehicle kills. Divide that number by the total of weapon deaths added to the total number of vehicle deaths. So: (WK+VK)/(WD+VD)
For where to find this:
To qualify for this award, you must have thrown at least 1000 total kills.
Don't forget to post not only your final number but all your other numbers too!
Remember, if you're in the lead, post your number in bold. If you think you're going to win hands down, you might want to hold off for a dramatic entrance after people have posted. Please post even if you're not going to win at all!
Once next week's stats series goes up, this one will be closed.
Finally, your AKDR WILL be lower than your regular one. Expect it. Don't be embarrassed by a fairly low one.

I know people take their KDR pretty seriously, so here's a Q&A about this.
Q: What are the advantages?
Regular KDR is really an apples to oranges comparison. It's not measuring the same thing. It's measuring the number of kills you make (regardless of whether they get revived) to the number of times you die and don't get revived.
If this were a perfect world, we'd simply compare number of times you kill someone and they don't get revived (thus losing their team a ticket) to the number of times you die and lose a ticket. This is what matters. However, I don't know how to do that with the basic stats provided.
This AKDR, on the other hand, does provide an apples to apples comparison. It's simply the number of times you kill someone (regardless of revives) versus the number of times they kill you (regardless of whether you get revived)
Q: What are the disadvantages?
Since perfection would be tickets gained to tickets lost for your team, this actually moves away from this. Sure, it might be apples to oranges the other way, but at least one of the stats is perfect and the other at least has some correlation to tickets lost/gained.
Q: What's left out?
From what I can figure out, you're going to miss kills and deaths from orbital strikes, supply boxes dropping on your head, and deaths from teammates.
Q: Which do you prefer, Zoraster?
They're both useful to a degree, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick the original KDR. The reason is that most people play with the idea of getting a revive in their mind. Revives are a major factor that people should consider, and despite some assertions otherwise, revives are NOT just for when you make a mistake.
This AKDR unfortunately has little to do with how much you're truly helping your team.
Q: Who do you suspect will benefit from this versus regular KDR?
Generally people who play more carefully and don't rely on revives as much. I suspect this will benefit snipers, people who play a lot of armor/gunship, etc.
Next week's series will use this stat as a basis!
