Statistics Series: Revivable (KDR/AKDR)
You'll notice I went back to the previous results and list the top 3 results now instead of simply the first. Only the number one player can call the award theirs in their signature or whatever
For detailed information on this series, as well as information on HOW to do it, please visit the original thread.
--
AWARD NAME: Revivable
Please take your regular KDR and divide it from your result from last week (That was the alternative kill to death ratio or (WK+VK)/(WD+VD). You don't have to have participated in that one, but if you didn't, please include what it would have been in your calculations.
To qualify for this award, you must have at least 1000 kills
Don't forget to post not only your final number but all your other numbers too!
Remember, if you're in the lead, post your number in bold. If you think you're going to win hands down, you might want to hold off for a dramatic entrance after people have posted. Please post even if you're not going to win at all!
---
Previous Awards (DO NOT POST IN THESE THREADS PLEASE):
7/10 Medic-Efficiency [Revives to Hours Assault]: 1. FrozenInferno (48.43) 2. Kneesocks (45.97) 3. R.E.A.P (44.77)
7/17 Control Freak [Hours (CO+SL)/SM)]: 1. Crux (10.22) 2. Silver.7 (6.16) 3. SIDIOUS (3.65)
7/21 Heads U... Sorry. [TKs/Nades Thrown]: 1. INSUNABULA (0.39) 2. Lunien (0.344) 3. Smachin007 (.186)
7/31 Alternative KDR [(WK+VK)/(WD+VK)]:* 1. R.E.A.P (3.66) 2. sordavie (2.9) 3. Lyramion (2.65)
*CTFalcon technically wins this, but since his stats are almost entirely from gunships on titan, I did not count him.
---
Thoughts on this one: This is designed to see what portion of the times you go down you're revived. This will favor those who SL disproportionately as they have revive priority, but it will also favor those who keep themselves in positions where they are able to be revived.

Re: Statistics Series: Revivable (KDR/AKDR)
ratio of 1 => you are never revived
ratio > 1 => you are revived
higher ratios => you get loads of revives
is this right?

Re: Statistics Series: Revivable (KDR/AKDR)
that's the gist of it, yeah. it's not perfect because AKDR isn't perfect, but it should be pretty close.
Because KDR shows how many times you've put people down and how many times you've died without being revived.
AKDR shows how many times you've put people down and how many times you've been put down.
So it at least purports to show how often you're revived in comparison to how many kills you get. There may be a better way of getting at that number, but this was the first thing that occurred to me.

Due to my most recent psych evaluation (due to the last court case I had listed), I again must disclose the following. Please do not take any posts made by Catman seriously, we have found defects in his thought processes that lead him sometimes to act as, what the internet would call a forum troll. He feels any attention is better than no attention and must have it at all costs, even his own dignity, well if he had any left. If you begin to take his posts seriously, please call us you are in need of serious psychiatric attention. We are available 24/7 at 1-800-OMGIMNUTS, please scream into the phone as soon as it's answered, we will identify you as a catman follower from that and direct your call to someone who can attend to you immediately.

Re: Statistics Series: Revivable (KDR/AKDR)
KDR: 1.805
AKDR: 1.686
Revivable: 1.07
Btw you have a typo in your post Zoraster:
Alternative KDR [(WK+VK)/(WD+VK)]
Shouldn't it be WD+VD for the denominator?
