Gunship Video
Hey guys, when I was doing that dogfight night I talked about how seeing things from my perspective might help, so I thought I would post my dogfight video and see if it's helpful to anyone. I know some people will disagree with the soloing aspect, but I can say that after many hours flying the gunship I am much more effective solo than with all but 3-4 gunners I've had the pleasure of flying with. Anyways, hope someone finds it useful.

Re: Gunship Video
Lol, at the very end u barely miss Fast's TV.
Nice vid, thanks.
Playing BF2142 as:
-{SXGr}- J0KerRr
-{SXGr}- x^DeTeR
I'm always open for tips, tutorials and training in the gunship while online, just ask :)
Currently taking a break from MW2, but when I play its as:
eXileD// DeTeR
Even if you don't consider that I only have 7 days played in the gunship I'm one of the best pilots in the game
I will always accept a 1v1, friendly or not
MW2 Objective Player + BF2142 Gunship Pro

Re: Gunship Video
I wouldn't suggest doing much soloing on the TG server....I believe you will find you will spend more time on the ground then in the air if you do.
Nice vid thoughProud to have been an Irregular!

Re: Gunship Video
Oh my, this is why I never even try to become good pilot.
I normally recommend people to check our server but I would be too scared to play armor maps if you were there :O

Re: Gunship Video
quick q: when using tvs, do you try to get a direct hit bang middle on a gunship, or do you lead it a bit to the side?
Half of my tvshots end up missing, even if they going straight into a gunship.TG Naith

Re: Gunship Video
I have this problem too, but I blame it mostly on latency. TVMs need precise timing to score a successful hit, so I think it better to lead a little bit to ensure the target is there when then missile is.

Re: Gunship Video
I get more hits aiming the TV right behind a moving air target, like a few inches behind the tail. Too far forward and the hit box won't register (since it lags behind the character by just a bit)

((Insert slightly witty, yet incredibly common-sensical quote here, to possibly ellicit a comment in one of thousands of posts on a rather popular web forum.))

Re: Gunship Video
When the gunship is moving quickly the middle is not a good place to aim. If it's going away from you at speed aim for the tail, if it's turning aim for the trailing side of the tail.
The head on shot with speed is very tough, try and flick it up into the belly at the last second.
