Re: SHORT VIDEO: RDX - Airline
Good job Lyra! I love the music you used and it is an honor to be in one of your videos.
I never knew that is where your body went.
Well, just by the title of the video I began to wonder if I had something to do with this... Insun, I am still trying to figure out what objects can save you from your own RDX and what objects will give you over to your own explosive demise, let alone what the minimum safe blowage distance is...
I do remember the round, I also remember how I was living at one moment and then turning the corner to find almost the entire squad Lyra was in standing by the flag. Needless to say, I did not live very long...
As a side note, if I am using RDX when moments like that happen, I can get skitterish if I do not force myself to remain level headed, which is probably why I died when I tried to do the airliner...

You let me know if you find that "minimum safe blowage distance" and I'll print-up some warning signs for you
" Warning! .....um.....BeSeige blowage area ahead"

Re: SHORT VIDEO: RDX - Airline
The minumum safe blowing distance for RDX is 10m, 9 is alright too, as you only take like six damage or something. any closer and you hurt yourself quite a bit

My problem was that I was getting shot during the little departure, I was hoping that I was just far enough away to still survive the RDX, but I guess I just did not have enough health.

Huh, actually a wall like that usually protects you...Seige threw the RDX down to the side of the wall, where it'd ended, then backed up and I don't think strafed. So the explosion just went straight at him without a wall inbetween. Throwing it over the wall should ensure survival.
Oh and btw...just tested this out recently, even a support shield unlock will block APMs from exploding at all, and RDX from harming you.
