When i saw a guy runing in the midle of a field and 5 seconds later to be mowed down by 3 hmg's and a tank..... i just turned around and walked away (i call this common seanse)

Someone dropped crates strategically on Gibralter catwalks making it impossible to go by that way. I have also seen it used with varying levels of success, at flags like command center on the steps.

thankfully crates can be taken out with 3 grenades and a few bullets.

well one example given was the command center stairs - which might make jumping over impossible. Also ladders get blocked by them - no jumping.

That's actually quite a nice way of "painting" an enemy target for the recon asset squads - just bring an engineer and have them throw a PDS on priority vehicles while you're taking out their assets
