First off: Welcome to TG.
We actually aren't a clan. We are a community. I'm going to quote the FAQs here since I think they explain it pretty nicely:

We do not have any restrictions to join other than adherence to our server rules and primer. We invite anyone to come play on our servers under the Tactical Gamer banner.
