3rd SFD is Recruiting!!!
This is it folks: your chance to strive for an incredibly high level of teamwork and comradery and be called elitist for your troubles!!!
In all honesty though, the 3rd is recruiting. We're looking to fill 2-3 slots on the roster.
What are we looking for?
1) Disciplined teamwork. People able to follow orders precisely and quickly. Who put their team ahead of themselves.
2) Above-average shooting skills. If you lose most of your 1 vs 1s, probably not the place for you.
3) Situational Awareness. Knowing what is going on around you.
4) Good attitude. If you're a whiner, a rage-quitter, or otherwise have emotional issues while playing 2142, look elsewhere.
5) Someone we like. Vague, I know but we're a close-knit team of friends, and if we don't get along with you that's a problem!
Please remember you must be a supporting member to be able to join the 3rd. And yes people really will call you elitist without knowing you. But you'll be joining one of TG's most storied and successful In House Squads!

1) Check! I'd follow anyone else willing to be Squad Leader.
2) Check! Rocket spam from 100 meters ensures no 1 vs 1 encounters.
3) Check! If it shots at me, kill it. If not, kill it anyway.
4) Check! Life is good.
5) Balls.
Oh well, guess I'll just have to wonder what it would be like to be one of the elite.

Jengles, Pfeil22 is a long-time TG member, and used to be one of the top people in the 9th MID as well as a 2142 admin. That's not very respectful, certainly not TG-like.

If Jengles was teasing, that's fine, as long as Pfeil is aware of that. The trouble with text is that there is no tone to go with it. Certainly we can all be a little more conscientious of how our words could be taken in the wrong context, especially by people whom we know little about.
That being said... this is the 3rd recruiting thread and Damonte will now extract himself from it.
