We could play Infantry Only Shuiha 64 with a 5 minute man down timer - almost PR!

    "Don't eat yellow snow!"

I thought you weren't supposed to eat any snow at all?

    Wintertraining - sounds absolutely fun.

That was a fun night! Some maps were not so great, other were just plain awesome. I'm not sure if I have a favorite round or not, but I liked 32p Verdun and 32p Cerbere, even with the walker and buggy to defend against.

We'll see about doing some Northern Strike next Wednesday.

I had a lot of fun this time around. I really just wish we had a buggy only map version for these things. for example, nv on tunis is too linear, but add even a buggy a side and it makes it an entirely different battle. Still, I had a lot of fun.

NS next week sounds good, but I'll have to talk to you about doing a wednesday custom map night to start the process of getting ready for the TGW scrim. (though obviously this can't be on the main server)

It was strange not seeing a lot of rockets everywhere but it was a ton of fun. Great idea to switch it up. Good stuff.

I don't know about that actually.. The whole of the last two weeks I've been using herzog + the stock guns, and I've been finding I've been playing so much better. Even with my cute little SCAR I've been able to take out the Baur-carrying/kryloving regulars, just by using a little cover. I actually took out a whole TG squad out a few days ago with my cover and my scar.

People didn't really adjust very quickly. On tunis NV, there was the usual stand off over the boats. A squad on each side standing there trying to pick each other off. I don't know why, as a squad could have easily pushed over without having to revive once, and run all over the squad of snipers on the other side.

    Let me rephrase.

It was nice having cover be useful for more then 15-30 seconds.

I in no way meant that cover is not useful in normal play but rockets do make you move around far more then you normally would have to.

I had a lot of fun the few rounds I played Wed. And it was fun playing where cover is much more effective than with rockets.

One round on Verdun I was SLing. Echo, myself and one other were just putting pressure on Church and probably held our little building of ruins for probably the last 3rd of the round. A nice flanking position when ever they tried to head to Valley Farm from church and just keeping the other team pinned in. I think it was finally 2 squads that pushed us out after being bombed by orbitals a couple times couldn't do it. Level 2 unlocks really makes you rethink your tactics.
