Re: Tactical gamer promotion video
It was a nice video pretty well done but some mic chat form sqauds working together or more third peopl views might be better to show the team work but i love what you did with the kits <(^_^)>

Re: Tactical gamer promotion video
Great work. One problem I see, or hear, is the low sound quality from 2142 itself. Remedy that and it would be complete.

Re: Tactical gamer promotion video
Impressive, the editing looked pretty much professional and I liked how you were trying to create an atmosphere and not just splashing a bunch of clips on the screen. I agree that some squadplay would have been nice, but I also understand that some longer clips of that kind wouldn't flow. Also agree with Logical about the sound quality.
You're clearly experienced though and I'll definitely be anticipating that next movie.Anger is a gift - Malcolm X

Re: Tactical gamer promotion video
A request to you, general_alvin
will you create a short 5 sec intro that all TG movie makers can use ?
an intro that is not game specific, yet introduces the TG name and shows the url
we have some already
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/video-p...ml#post1346090
it would be good to have you create a professional looking one, in your own style
ie with the nifty editing you used in 33-36 secs of yours

Re: Tactical gamer promotion video
Those effects were great, nice job Alvin. I agree squadplay would be awesome because it represents us and all...but it takes long clips to do those, and this was a more general one. A mix of the action and/or a bunch of short squadplay elements really fit into a longer promotional video. So I liked it as it is, and look forward to any more!
Yay! I was just thinking those sort of effects are great to start with, good you asked Silver...and I'd love to see a new TG opening with that style.
Btw, is it just me or does the fullscreen option not work?

NP, thankies. Now I can enjoy it while it fills the screen

Re: Tactical gamer promotion video
Ok, so here is the first version of the intro media. Please let me know if this is on the right track. This is a rough cut but pretty much how I envisioned it.
