You shouldn't be sorry for having a life, dude. All of us have real life priorities that always come before gaming. It's not like the community is accusing you all of being bad admins for not showing up. If anything, we're grateful you show up at all.

Nonetheless, there needs to be more admin presence. If not the lot of you, then others.
So, make babies amongst yourselves or something. Get to it.

Re: Damn the admins!

You need to check in with your other admins because I alone submitted 10 nominations last month. See the other post "A plea for more admins"

We asked for people to step up to be full admins.....got two maybe......

As for the other stuff, most of us would say you guys are doing great job. Lets not forget we are paying members, some of us for years.

There were reviewed, but most of them the staff could not agree upon. We have 2 prospects and one accepted the position last night. We still can accept one more admin. We will not take more than 2 as it takes about a month to 2 months to learn all the skills needed for the position.

I'm never really sure how payments fits into these arguments but we really can't be more clear what benifits payments get you. Section 5 & 6. Everyone supporting or not has as much say as the next person in the community. You are not to be treated any different other than the benifits listed. We are thankful yes, but leverage in an agument isn't the place for this.

Damonte had some trouble understanding Foxtrot's meaning here, but he believes after some consideration that Foxtrot was intending to say it in this manner:

Re: Damn the admins!

You're trying to tell me we should respect people who put aside their free time to make this community work? Not to mention things like stopping whatever they're doing in the middle of a map to warn bunny hoppers and resolve issues that we complain about? Come on guys!

Re: Damn the admins!

Glad to see you got my PM with the nominations. Sorry, they didn't work out to fill all the slots available. Thanks for the considerations.

Bwah? The only real 'skills' required are common sense and maturity. The CC is simplicity itself (and let's face it most admins don't ever even need to go into the CC except rarely), and the in-game kick/ban/warn commands could be handled by any literate 8 year old.

So what's the real reason?

Don't underestimate the ineptitude of us computer-retards - we're everywhere !!! We gain your trust and confidence then... boom!! suddenly we throw down an IDS in the first few seconds and the server is gone

Its a cool club, if there were 20 active admins, well that just isn't as cool/important as just 5 or 6.

well the battlefield series is probably the largest community here. Not sure how big the wow community is, but regardless they don't need ingame admins. 2142 and the variations of bf2 all need ingame admins that are active.

Neph......that is nasty!
