Yet the response to Lyra's vid proved there are borderline cases. As I've also said before, it's easy to think of a bunnyflopper in our heads, falling and rising almost immediately, but cases like Lyra's will also occur. I wouldn't define the proning in that video as the "quick succession" or "without using cover" that you seem to be describing most bunny flopping as, but you still thought that this was a form of flopping.

I don't think anyone would get the wrong idea. I use prone frequently around cover. The thing is I don't spam it. What you're describing is the difference between a drop of water and pouring out a whole bucket.

And people hitting the decks and then running for their lives is fine. What we're talking about is people hitting the decks then getting up then hitting the decks over and over again and using it to avoid fire instead of seeking cover.

What response are you referring to? I sincerely hope Lyra reposts that BR footage in real time. It'll change your mind in a hurry methinks.

I think we should all feel lucky that the game makes him do this otherwise everyone would be a sniper and Chris would be unstoppable.
No offense Aumen, but this doesn't even make any sense. First of all ANY sniper would HAVE to expose their head to shoot you unless the game implemented a mirror system to allow people to shoot without direct visual on target. This would apply even if there was a lean.

Second, a lean wouldn't make everyone a sniper. It might however make some of the truly gifted snipers in TG's history make an appearance (like Guardian and Santa). Then you'd be in for an eye-opening experience.

And frankly you can give Hooper lean. My squad with their assaults will still eat him alive any day of the week. The difference is we get revived when we die

Perhaps the speed has been altered. Also I dunno if it's my crappy computer, but the vid seems to go a little blurry in a way that suggests it's been sped up, not slowed down, but I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time )

your right, I does not make much sense. I suppose what I am getting at is that the game, IMO, does not allow for your body to be hidden very well behind terrain.

Yeah I played against Guardian plenty of times, however Santa does not ring a bell. It would be good to see many of the retired players back. Speaking of which nice playing with Experiment last night, welcome back pal.

    Thank's Reaper for that info~!

    Santa was scary.

And honestly I think it is easy to use terrain for cover. I guess the whole point of this is people using spamming of prone instead of cover.

So I made three posts in a row earlier. I'm officially departing this thread until at least tomorrow night. Someone must stop the madness!!!

PS. The "Shirley, you can't be serious" was a joke. It wasn't meant to be insulting.

I am not a sniper enough to honestly say if terrain is or is not easy to use from a sniper perspective. I am however infantry a lot and can say that I can spot a sniper very easy, thus drawing my conclusion that terrain not allowing for cover for snipers. And I will say-agree that as infantry using terrain for cover is extremely effective.

LOL - do you have any idea how much Hooper dies? He's a good shot with that thing, but not immortal. We have an ongoing thing about who dies more in the 55th- me or him. And if you've played with me, you know its way too much! Love yas, Hoops!

Yeah, I think I can thank Chris for probably half of my revives I'm accumulated. Hell, I even get sick of hearing myself say, "I'm comin' for ya Hoops, get ready to move". LOL

If you're referring to mine and Tango's last posts, I'd like to point out that there is no insult of his skill even implied there. In game, he is as mortal as the rest of us, and has to get revived like everyone else. Are half of my revives due to him dying? NO! It was an exageration, mostly just to give him hell because I thoroughly enjoy ribbing him to death because if you know Chris Hooper, you know he's a complete smartass who likes to joke around and just have fun.

If anyone is questioning his integrity, they are way off base, because he plays within the rules of the server and in the spirit of the TG primer.
