Re: Bad Company 2 - further info
I hope the spawn invincibility doesn't apply to spawning on squad members.
He was told that he should not kill, and he did not kill, until he got into the Army. Then he was told to kill, and he killed.

Re: Bad Company 2 - further info
Yea the no prone I think works out ok, its probably due to legs going through objects , etc
In BC tactics can used I found, because the terrain deforms its possible to put the tank in a hull down position and I actually used this to an advantage in game at least once and HDR is nice also
Yea thats pretty much the case in BC afaik. Auto spotting, if a teammate sees the enemy then you have it on the radar also.I'm guessing something like the red diamonds automatically appear when you look at enemies?
This means you often know enemies are behind fences as it tracks their movement also for a short duration at least.
Pretty dam arcadey, hope this game allows some modding or 'fine tuning'

That transport/gunship vid that Silver posted was impressive...shows the scale we love about BF games, plus some plain awesome graphics.

Re: Bad Company 2 - further info
I am thinking about pre-ordering this game - is there any reason to get a phyiscal copy anymore or just go with downloadable copy ie no shipping / wait time when it comes out just leave your pc on to DL... ? Besides the little printed manual which you can read electronically for free, and a plastic case whats the diff ?

Re: Bad Company 2 - further info
For me it's saved HDD space.
I'll admit, it is nice to play games with no disc.

Re: Bad Company 2 - further info
BF-1943 is for a younger audience and for consoles. So I guess they didn’t necessarily got to the limit of the engine. I think it is a choice in order to favour a fast-pace, easy to get in to and free flowing game. If BF-BC2 is more serious and intended towards mature and teamworking players, then they will go to the faisable limit number of players (and I’m placing a two buck bet on 24 vs 24).
Well I find it nice to bypass the necessety to burn a disc for archival purposes... I like a clean system and I tend to delete programs that I don’t use anymore. So if I have the disc, I don’t need to make one in case I have a sudden urge to replay the game in the future. But that’s just me...
Power to the pwnies!

Re: Bad Company 2 - further info
When I get a check in the mail from you for about $100 I'll do that.

That's the only thing I don't like about my digital download stuff from D2D. If I delete the installer and uninstall the game, I have to re-download the game if I want it again.

Re: Bad Company 2 - further info
Could be the 9th but that seems to indicate sometime in December 2009 and not a particular day.
