Co-pilot/ wing-man request
Dear pilots and any interested players,
I am interested in having a fellow player(s) spend time with me on any of the servers that support flying gunships and or transports. I am looking preferably for a player that is willing to help me improve my flying skills and co-piloting skills.
I would prefer that the player(s) have an easy going attitude that is willing to be upbeat and be positive allowing them to have fun even when there can be a repetitive nature to the game. An attitude that is suited for teaching is a bonus, but anyone that is able to communicate efficiently during combat and still have fun is appreciated.
Though it is not required, I would like it if you are able to possibly record any of the matches if the servers do not have battle recorder. I have trouble understanding what I do wrong unless I see my mistakes.
I am not too concerned about the times that you are free, I am flexible for when we can meet up.
This is open to any member that is willing to go pub raiding with me or fly with me on TG servers.
~Siege
P.S. And don't worry, I am not on any illegal drugs or intoxicated when I fly. The earlier in the night, the better the chances you will have for flying safer with me. Just kidding on the last part.

Re: Co-pilot/ wing-man request
Well, if I'm on with you, I'll gun for you. As long as you are cool with the fact that it's a learning experience for me too. Last night when I was gunning for TomdaSlaya, I think only about 25% of my TV missiles were hitting, and the ONLY time I was able to shoot Dorb out of the sky was when we were climbing steadily right next to him and he was basically in one place on my screen the whole time. LOL I have FRAPS and Xfire, but have never really recorded video with either while in game, but I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Re: Co-pilot/ wing-man request
Actually this could be very useful. I've been trying to teach Math_Magician how to gun well for a while now, but its been hit-and-miss because we aren't always on the same team, and since I can't really tell him "how" to use the TV missile other than just shoot for the tail. If you'd be willing to go pub raiding with us, or even just messing around on an empty server like we do when working on our dogfighting/soloing I'd definitely try to help you out.
I'm not sure if I'm "qualified" for the job seeing as I've only got about 1200 kills with the gunship, and my kdr in it is only around 2.20.
I'll add you to my buddy list, any time you want to work on flying or whatever just PM me and I'll join off your server.
Playing BF2142 as:
-{SXGr}- J0KerRr
-{SXGr}- x^DeTeR
I'm always open for tips, tutorials and training in the gunship while online, just ask :)
Currently taking a break from MW2, but when I play its as:
eXileD// DeTeR
Even if you don't consider that I only have 7 days played in the gunship I'm one of the best pilots in the game
I will always accept a 1v1, friendly or not

Re: Co-pilot/ wing-man request
if you have a mouse that has a sensitivity control on the actually mouse and it works, when using a TV put it all the way down, the missile is much stabler, if you haven't told him that yet. and Besiege, if i'm ever on when you are i'll just hop in the server your on and help, let's not make any dates or anything cause my schedule is very tight. 'm not extremely qualified either, but i could be an enemy gunship for you to practice on.

Re: Co-pilot/ wing-man request
I'm always willing to take up a newer gunner or pilot and fly with them.
I was not the strongest pilot or gunner but I would say avg or around there and I too was taken under the wing of some fellow TGrs. Lonewolf and TomdaSlaya an Smachin jsut to name 3. So passing on what they have taught me and what I have learned on my own and others I have gone up with is always a fun learning expierence.

Can you hit a buggy launched off a Titan as it arcs through the air?

Re: Co-pilot/ wing-man request
Ah, but see those are standing still. Also, slightly off-topic... When you guys hit an enemy gunship/transport with a TV, have you ever had it phase through even though you hit it dead on? This has happened to me every time I was sure of a hit, the missile view has the enemy aircraft in the dead center, but there is no impact. I'd like to know if this is a common occurence or if its just my connection losing key packets.

Re: Co-pilot/ wing-man request
Anytime, just catch me when I am on, we can grab some others as well. Its fun to take up 3-4 with 3-4 who are willing and have the time to teach. We can just hop on a titan server *don't worry it wouldnt be about the titan* and do some basics with manuverability and ease into some air combat on a suez server. Thats how I learned. One on one then some 1 v 1 gunship fights against another around the same level of exp. with the pilot/gunner coach in the opposite seat.

Please do not use this thread for asking help from others too. I do not mind that you go to them with the same question, but please do not ask for their help in this thread as well.
Thank you guys, I appreciate hearing back from you guys.
