Got promoted to Lt. General!
Logged onto 2142 this morning and it said I was selected! I was pretty excited : )
I was wondering about the criteria for being selected - lots of people have wayy more score than I do. I figure that I got selected because I've gotten quite a bit of score this past week, and my K/D has been steadily improving, it used to be .70 or 80 something when I first started playing in '06, but I've gotten better, KD average is 1.20 now, and average KDs are 2-1 or 3-1 in a round.
I would play on TacticalGamer, but my ping is 250 on a good day, and that's too high for me. I can hold my own against good players at 170, but at 250 it's really hard.
Just wanted to express my excitement, it doesn't have much (real) significance, but it sure is cool looking.

No-one really knows how they are selected, we've had numerous threads discussing it and everyone seems to have a different theory. Congrats though.

Lyra's just jealous. He once shot down a gunship with nothing but a slingshot and a few pieces of scrap paper and he's still never got any of these ranks
