Silly things on the server

Preround planning
Zhohar (who's on the other team) TeamSpeaks something about "Pilums" and "Com Tower".

After I add 1+1, I finally decide that we will engage Zhohar in PilumPilum combat (secretly hoping that Zhohar wasn't taking strategy to another level - getting us to go pilums while he wipes us out with clarks).

Pilum combat
It was a fun 60 seconds.
2 squads, armed to the teeth with pilums, shooting eachother, reloading, and taking another shot.
After a certain point, we would charge with fixed bayonets (read: knives).

We were told to stop. We did. It was a nice appetizer of giggly silliness.

I'm surprised I can spell that, considering that it's 4:30 AM and I've been drinking since sometime around midnight.

I remember a round of Inf Only Verdun where I came in engineer by accident. Having nothing better to do, and not about to suicide I fired into an oncoming squad with my Pilum. As the shot nears the target (likely missing though) Reap pops out from behind a corner only to eat the Pilum round straight in the face. He comes on TS and says: "Kelvin, that was pure luck." Well my luck was pretty consistent because my next shot nailed Eroak on his way to revive him. Other people on my team, inspired by my success, begin spawning Engy with Pilums. At one point there was 3/4 of the team with an engy kit. (by this time I had found myself a nice Krylov kit) The admins flip a s*** in TS and in-game chat, saying they were going to start banning people for unrealistic play, etc... All because of my little mistake. I fessed up to having started it, but it was damn funny to both see that many Pilums being fired and my initial luck with it.

Man i wish i could stay up that late, sounds like a blast. i would wind up asleep on the keyboard though....

A silly thing is to try to lead a squad which is all over the place while politely trying to making them to form up, ordering them and so on (Tunis harbor) and fail miserably with everything, making the tired me extremly frustrated....only to way after the round is over, realize that voip havn't been working since the last crash (since I got a new computer I get content error and voip disappearing which I never had before). They havn't heard a word, which explains the the lack of coordination. Times like that I just want to ram my head to the wall.

More than a little embarrassing, but kind of funny in an bisarr selfpunishing way. New sl pattern, after crash...mic check for voip!! Hopefully no one else will do the same misstake.

Better be careful with the unrealistic gameplay.
