I just played two rounds on the server. What has happened to the rules?
I don't remember the name of the map I just left that is playing. But hell, rampant walker and apc stealing from the uncaps, people camping right on the uncaps border killing anyone who spawns in to get a apc/walker, if they haven't been stolen yet.
When I last played on TG's 2142 server this past spring it was a fun place. I guess not anymore.

When stuff like this happens get names and type it up in team chat....if we don't keep typing it then people just keep doing it and more people see it and more people do it and so on......

Well earlier in the day admins are harder to find, so I can see that happening on the server at the time you played. (you posted at 4:12 pm my time)

Good point by jazy though, even if there isn't an admin in the 2142 TS channel there might be one watching the cc, so reporting in chat helps.

Well I was there on the server and didn’t notice it.

But yes, monday afternoons (Est.time) are slow days (meaning there are more pubbies). So the TG Primer is not as strictly observed as other more popular times. That is primarily down to the fact that the 2142 player count is slowly dwindling among TGers (edit: and in general)...

During the day you are more likely to find rule-breakers on the basis that admin activity isn't as big as it is in the later afternoon/evening. But typing out who are you reporting and what for should definitely help.

Yes an admin could easily have CC open and certain words such as report and admin cause witchcraft and the admins see it (the report). Even if they're not at the computer they will probably get them retrospectively.

I was playing BF@ and had BFCC open....report them and also look on TS. I was in the BF Vanilla Channel and did kick a couple before I can into 2142.

Just type in chat (any chat you like):

Admin Reporting <Playername> for <Ruleviolation>

And action will be taken! I was on CC and on TS (E1st-channel) during that time but no reports You can contact me on TS in any time.

During the daytime this is common with less TGers and admins around. It happens to the best of servers, TG included. Like all things in TG that are self-policed, the only way to make them better is by all of us taking the initiative to make the right people aware of the problem, either immediately via TS or chat, or after the round by posting an AAR with as much specifics as you can.

As you see by the quick response by many members, we take pride in the server still and want to help reduce experiences such as yours in any way possible - do the admins a favor and make their jobs easier though whenever possible by seeking them out and providing clear & concise reports of the perpetrator and crime.

If you read recent AAR's written here and/or come back during primetime, you will see that all is well here in TGland

I saw that today too, though I did not stay around long enough for details, the server was laggy lol and constant individual client shutdowns. Though that's not the point, but I did see alot of pubbies and heard alot of complaining to the admin(whom of which was AFK for a long time)

But even without TS, you can still report rule-breakers in chat and get the admins' attention.
