You know those horizontal lines in the scope under the of cross-hairs the sniper rifles? especially for the Zeller, does anyone know the exact distances where the bullet is going to hit those lines?
I just noticed, I should have put Sniper Rifle Bullet Drop. My bad.Last edited by Mordona; 11-11-2009 at 01:52 PM.

You can edit recent posts.
I think someone told me every 200 metres it goes to the next line, with no gradual drop, just sudden. But I'm not entirely sure I remember the distance correctly XD
[This should probably be in Tactics]

Re: Bullet Drop?
Its something like that, but you have to be a really good sniper for it to matter.

Playing BF2142 as:
-{SXGr}- J0KerRr
-{SXGr}- x^DeTeR
I'm always open for tips, tutorials and training in the gunship while online, just ask :)
Currently taking a break from MW2, but when I play its as:
eXileD// DeTeR
Even if you don't consider that I only have 7 days played in the gunship I'm one of the best pilots in the game
I will always accept a 1v1, friendly or not
MW2 Objective Player + BF2142 Gunship Pro

Re: Bullet Drop?
Yeah! Where is Chris_Hooper? That son of a switch :¬)
I’m using that tone because he is the only sniper that really pisses me off!! And he pisses me off because he is really good at it. So if you have sniper questions, you could check in on him and ask for his wisdom...

Hoop is the kind if guy you love to hate...
I haven't ever noticed the bullet drop but that might be because I rarely shoot someone 200 meters away. Heck I rarely can see 200 meters.. Damn FOG!Nubhar

Re: Bullet Drop?
I've never used them lines, I just guess how far above someones head I should aim. 6 pixels do the job for me at approx. 150 meters I guess.

Re: Bullet Drop?
If you've fully zoomed in with the mousewheel, the horizontal lines indicate where your bullet will hit at 200m for the first one, where the bullet will hit at 400m for the second, etc.

Hooper TK's me with grenades a lot...
I never really was one for sniping, usually if I'm just goofing around and not serious. Never knew that's what those lines were there for, I always though the sniper just maxed out at that range.Posted by Deterhek:
