YaY! We certainly will find a fresh pace to life in 2142 no thanks to NS being on the rotation on a more daily basis along with the new maps.

Plus Operation Blue Pearl is a great urban map. I hope the two community maps are good too. I'm also looking forward to playing Northern Strike. Oh, and no more field unlocking all the NS unlocks. Great job EA!

...Localization is due to us making the game in English and then the localisation process is where every other language gets translated and approved for use.
So it goes out to each territory to get the game transalted to French, German, Spanish etc etc.

Two brand new maps from community modder Jason Brice (more on this later)

Jason did the Shingle Map.

Back then when it was tested 2 more maps by him were in the test that never surfaced. I will point my finger hard towards those being in.

Might just have to come back to 2142 for a bit when this gets released...provided its before March 2nd.

On a side note: Its encouraging to see them release NS for everyone, it would have been better a year earlier, but better late then never.

Hehe, Northern Strike for everybody! I was tempted to buy it, but didn't feel there was too much point. Free works for me though

New maps too, should see some good rotations between those

Excited to see NS will be free.

Though I guess knowing EA it will still be a while until they actually release the patch, so I guess I shouldn't get too excited. ;o

Ohhh yes baby! This is bloody marvellous news, I am pumped that NS is now free, I paid for it, but I am more than happy for it to be given away free, this is going to rock!....imagine a 4 man squad with 2 Hachimotos with mortars and TV missiles....sniff....it's getting me all emotional just thinking about it.

This will keep us all entertained for months...sniff! I just hope their plan is to give us something new to play until BFBC2 comes out, if they are smart they will release it sooner rather than later.
