It's Me Dankenstein!
Hello, first of all you guys rock for creating a great community. TG is how BF was made to be played. Which is why i joined

I just had a question and since i FAIL at forums i couldn't find the answer myself.
Where can i apply to get into one of the squads (aka -irr 8th) stuff like that? I'm confident in how i follow orders and im a decent shot and thought i could attempt to get in.
Thanks guys and sorry i have to ask this i just couldn't find the answer...
Danken

Hey Dank, welcome to TG

The In House Squads you are talking about are subgroups within TG. Most require you to be a supporting member to join but the Irregulars are the exception, check out their forums here

Once again welcome!Proud to have been an Irregular!

Yes, indeed welcome.
This link should help, it deals with all the other IHSs as well.

'Ey there
We had some awesome teamwork going on few hours ago, plus you rock as squadleader (though you had burnt your SL-gasoline after 3 maps).
Will be seeing you, I suppose.

Re: It's Me Dankenstein!
Kyle is right... if you want to be in an IHS without a supporting membership, then you can join the Irregulars.

Re: It's Me Dankenstein!
Best way to explain is to check out each IHS wiki page. Simply click on say mylink in my sig that says the 11th tactical wiki page, and then you can read up on the 11th, and at the top you can see a list of all IHS wiki pages.

Re: It's Me Dankenstein!
welcome! the posts above a true, you must be a supporting member to join an in-house squad, except for the Irregulars(like me!). Being a supporting member has its perks, like forming groups, or an in-house squad eventually if you are serious about it. Expanded forum access and reserved spots in scrims and tournaments. Having priority over non-supporting members, especially in the games that we advertise on the TG forums, (example: BF 2142) a non- supporting player will be kicked from a TG server on any specific game to make room just for YOU! Great stuff, consider becoming a supporting member, it will help the TG community grow, and again... Welcome to the Tactical Gamer Community!!!!

Dark
the shortest answer to your question is no. Now some of the IHS's focus on certain aspects of the game like TG-AIR or seige corps, but that doesn't mean that what they focus on is the only thing they are good at, a lot of TG-AIR are excellent outside of a plane
so they wouldn't be restricted to only flying in any sort of match or game that was set up. And in regular day-to-day games, they wouldn't be the only ones allowed to fly either.
(Sorry for picking on you guys AIR, but you all know I have a crush on Beat

Re: It's Me Dankenstein!
Not only that, you have to get to know everybody first. Most IHS's (correct me if im wrong) require you to have experience in the game you play, as well as being familiar to the TG forums.

Re: It's Me Dankenstein!
Correct. Most times(there are exceptions) you are invited to an IHS as opposed to applying. You can PM the leader of the IHS or recruiting officer to let them know of your interest, but then they want to get to know you and you them. They need to make sure you're a good fit for the kool-aid.....erm...group.

Anyway, welcome to TG. It's the last server you'll ever need.
