    Mouse
MX 518 optical. I use it for, such as the farther back button on the side for talking to squad in bf 2142 and the front side for vehicle shields. I have buttons like that placed in those places so i can still fight and talk at the same time. I can also change the DPI straight on the mouse, it has a + and - sing in front and back of the scroller wheel. I mainly use this for shooting TV's, i can turn it all the way down and you can then aim better. Or turn it up for flying.

    Keyboard
G11. I like the light up keys haha. umm i use the macro keys for like starting the internet instead of having to click and starting games. nothing more. I have to get around to programming more of them tho.

    Speakers/Headphones
Logitech X-540 5.1 surround sound. Currently I don't have them positioned properly and don't have an adequate sound card to have full surround sound. It has a feature theat makes it sound like surround sound though. When I finish building my new rig i'll have a new room to put it in and my mobo will support full surround sound. I mostly these days use my headphones cause my mom donesn't like loud noise, But in the new room i'll be able to blast them as loud i want

Thanks for the pics. How do those hard mats for the mouse work for you? I always tend to need some type of wrist rest of some sort to be comfortable for long periods of time. Also, the MX 518 also seems to be a very popular mouse around here, I have a good friend that has one as well I'm gonna have to bum it off of him so I can try it out.

My mouse pad is an S&s steel series hard plastic pad. I think it has amazing glide and tracks my mouse great.

You are welcome. Razer works great for me. In the beginning I was a bit skeptical taking into the account a rather steep price tag. The mat itself is quite flexible and very comfy. I never bothered with a wrist hand. My wife e.g. uses Logitech Trackman, very good for work but definitely not recommended for gaming. I did notice any substantial wear ant tear of the mouse feet. Anyway, if your mouse dies, Logitech will replace it without any problems. All you have to do is to be super nice and polite on the phone. (-: Also, Target has had a clearance on MX518SE for some time (I bought a spare onefor $28). It differs a bit from the "regular" MX518. It is red and has smaller mouse feet. Either way, if you are looking for a mouse, I would vote for mx518.

"First lets start off with the mouse. What kind do you use? Why do you use it? What DPI and sensitivity do you run in game? Finally, would you recommend this mouse to others?"

I use a MS Optical Mouse Blue because it seems to work. I have tried alot of mice.
The mouse pad really seems to make a difference. Right now I have a piece of white paper because it tracks real smooth. I cant wait for the Brain Interface.

"Second, the keyboard. What kind do you use? Why do you use it? Again, would you recommend this keyboard to others?"

I use a keytronic copy of the old IBM 101 style keyboards. I had a real one but I stupidly threw it away!!!! Super tough and very sure. Best gaming keyboard bar none. May not have all the features but never fails.

"Third, the speakers. Use the same layout as for the keyboard."

Cambridge Sound works with subwoofer. Clear and nice stereo.

"Fourth, headphones. Use the same layout as for the keyboard."

    No headphones.

Laptop keyboard, simple Logitech mouse with 2 buttons on the side for web-browsing, which i have bound to change camera angles in the gunship.

Sennheiser pc151 headset. I would recomend it to others, it is comfortable and not expensive. Great sound quality from the headphones, and the mic.

Re: What kind of mouse/keyboard/speakers/headphones combo do you use?

Lol i use what ever i can get. lol im only 15 and i dont have a job yet and my parents wont buy all this stuff for me lol.

Mouse: Wolf King Trooper. Its dpi is 800 1600 and 2300 i think (the writing kinda got worn off lol) it also has a fire button of 2 shots 3 and 4 shots. (fire button is when u click the left mouse once, it actually does 2 3 or 4 in game) very useful. Its a decent mouse, if u like a big mouse then this is the mouse u want and its cheap $30 i think. My friend gave it to me for my birthday :]

Keyboard: I have a gigaware um.. something lol. idk its like ur standard keyboard, cont have the money to get a good one. Its actually a very good keyboard considering i got it for free :] wouldnt recommend it for gaming though.

Speakers : Altec Lansing multimedia with dolby surround sound :]. Not the best but its pretty nice. I can hear when things are coming from the left or right clearly and i can hear it from front to back too even though the speakers aren't all around u. . It has 2 speakers that sit on ur desk and a bass on the floor. Its kinda cool when u turn the bass up high and a tank or something like that shoots it shakes the room lol.

Headphones : crappy headphones, what ever i can get my hands on. it just says and archos mp3 don't know much about it lol. wouldn't recommend it lol.

ya like i said, i use what i can get. Maybe when im older and i find a job ill be able to get some nicer stuff.

Mac user here... so here it goes:

Display: 20" cinema display by Apple (a matte beauty on any lighting condition/angle)
Keyboard: Apple wired keyboard (it has laptop keys for extra-fast typing)
Mouse: Apple Mighty mouse (nothing fancy here)
    Speakers: none
Headphone: AKG K702 hooked to a Musical Fidelity headphone amplifier X-CAN v3 (sounds absolutely amazing - it’s not surround, but I usually play when the family is asleep so headphones are my only option)
    Microphone: Logitec USB microphone

    Power to the pwnies!

Re: What kind of mouse/keyboard/speakers/headphones combo do you use?

Mouse: Logitech G5 (the older blue and silver one, to match my case, lighting and keyboard). Being able to bind keystrokes to the tilt wheel is fantastic. I have my primary weapon and defib set to "]"/tilt left and "["/tilt right, respectively. Super fast switching.
Keyboard: Silver Enermax Aurora , but for gaming I use a Z-Board Fang. My hands are quite small, so re-setting all the key-binds "closer together" allows me to hit everything I need more comfortably.
Speakers: Logitech surround set of some sort, but I don't use them.
Headphones: AKG K301XTRA. I adore AKG products, I have 4-5 different sets, but these are the best sounding and most comfortable for gaming. Plugged into a lowend Asus Xonar soundcard after my M-Audio Revolution 5.1 made me too angry.
    Mic: clipon POS Zalman.

Mouse: 5€ optic-mouse with nothing fancy beside a wheel
Keyboard: A over 7 years old standard Keyboard with standard buttons and a mute button on the side.. thats it
Speaker: Not sure if they have a name at all. standard 2 speakers no bass-box or whatever
Headset: Typhoon.has some cool bass-boost technique what sounds awesome if an Orbital strike is going down near by

That is the same Zalman clip on I use with my Sennheiser HD595s and it is horrible.

    Mouse: Logitech G5

Keyboard: MS Natural 4000 (I really wish someone would come out with a backlit natural keyboard!)

Speakers: Logitech Z2300 THX (The bass from this bad boy will kick your teeth in)

Headphones: Sennheiser 595's with the Zalman clip-on mic. @Fall3n, I've never had any trouble with the zalman mic...what kinds of issues have you had?
