Re: What kind of mouse/keyboard/speakers/headphones combo do you use?
Mouse: Logitech G9
Keyboard: Logitech G15. This keyboard is simply amazing, the battlefield 2142 "app" is incredibly useful.
Speakers: A small bar that clips onto my dell sp2309w. Don't really use them because i don't want to create feedback when using my mic
Headset: Seinheiser 350

Re: What kind of mouse/keyboard/speakers/headphones combo do you use?
Oh that differs depending on which of my computers I use..
Main:
mouse/ketboard:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ech-_-23126006 Cheap and functional.. Nothing fancy here.
Headset: Just bought me a new really cheap headset called Cosonic 850 since people had trouble hearing me in game. So far I'm pleased with them. Decent quality and I payed next to nothing for them.
Speakers: Never use the speakers for gaming but I have surround system from the TV hooked up to the computer.. Don't remember the brand..
Secondary:
Yeah, like I'm gonna remember that.. Cheap and barely playable

I just got the new SteelSeries Siberia v2 headset (early xmas gift), with a neato retractable mic, so I'm moderately excited. I hope it lives up to my expectations.
The 4gb of RAM I also got is positively thrilling!

Mouse: Logitech G5
Keyboard: Logitech G15 (blue)
Geekpad: Belkin Nostromo n52
Headphones: Plantronics Gamecon (fairly new, but so far so good)
Speakers: Logitech 5.1 speakers, but I never use them. I wonder if they still work...Last edited by Lorax74; 12-22-2009 at 06:33 PM.

typo, meant n52 and it's not the te version, it's the older model (swiss cross, no back lighting, useless red button, etc). I love it and can't imagine playing without it.

Gotcha. Yeah, I've had the te version for some time now, and I don't think I could even play without it anymore.

EDIT: now i use Cyber Snipa sonar 5.1 headset. I love them. Headset simulates a sound card if you don't have one that supports 5.1. The drivers let you change loudness of each speaker.
3 normal speakers in each side of the headset, and each side has subwoofer behind the normal speakers. Also has a boom mic. Plugs in by USB only

To avoid hijacking this thread and turning it into an n52 topic, I'll link to an older n52 thread, plus I'm lazy and don't want to type it all out again

Re: What kind of mouse/keyboard/speakers/headphones combo do you use?
After reading this thread I've decided to invest in some new equipment:
Keyboard: Logitech G13 Advanced Gaming Board. This one isn't a full keyboard but it has enough buttons and M-states to take care of most gaming needs. The analog control is ok for movement but you really can't drive with it
Mouse: Logitech G500. The DPI on this thing gets so high that my sensitivity settings in 2142 are now at 0.5 and I can still spin a Rorsh around like a carnival ride and switching it to the low setting really lets me get some accurate shooting in.
Speakers: don't use them for gaming
Headset: Turtle Beach AudioAdvantage SRM. A real pain to get set up but once it's up and going it's completely AWESOME. I've had these for a while and they support full 5.1 surround sound (the soundcard with a digital optical cable supports Dolby 7 or something). These really help with immersion into the game.

Re: What kind of mouse/keyboard/speakers/headphones combo do you use?
Mouse: Logitech G5 (newer blue version)
Keyboard: Very thin Mac wired keyboard (not sure what its called)
Headset: Plantronics not-sure-of-number
Not very much room to move the mouse around. My keyboard is partly over the edge of the desk as it is

Playing BF2142 as:
-{SXGr}- J0KerRr
-{SXGr}- x^DeTeR
I'm always open for tips, tutorials and training in the gunship while online, just ask :)
Currently taking a break from MW2, but when I play its as:
eXileD// DeTeR
Even if you don't consider that I only have 7 days played in the gunship I'm one of the best pilots in the game
I will always accept a 1v1, friendly or not
