    Submit Late-Night Rotation

So, as the primary late night, in-game admin I am almost always on for the decline of the server from 46 down to around 20-30. A lot of times we have people for vehicles and too many for 16p no vehicles maps. Thus, I would like to hear the communities ideas on what maps and modes they would like to see in these late-night rotations. I've been experimenting with different ones and met with mixed results.

So, give me our desire for what you would like to play late night on server decline. Some ideas might be Verdun 16p WITH vehicles(very fun). or some of our lesser played maps in 16p. I would like to stay away from armor maps of course, but I'm open to anything you want to try. We're here to try different things. Also, we do have an INF only rotation for LATE night populations.

    So, let's hear it!

I don´t think you can have to much people for 16p maps with no vehicles but i hear you ( as one of the late night gamer )
The idea with a late night rotation is great and i would love to see more infantry focused maps in a smaller size than normal.
Provides the fun and you get to see something different than you did hours ago.

I don't want to submit a whole rotation, either, but I'd like to see some I/O Minsk again. And, maybe some mini Belgrade, too.

    I/O Minsk again

This is an effort to keep the server busy! Not to flush it out in one go !

Back in the day when I could be a late night admin, I sometimes changed things up based on requests from TS. 16 and 32 player maps, in no particular order.

Ya, I asked in TS and got limited reply's. lol So I ended up doing just that. Zhohar threatened to send his goon squad after me if I ran Minsk. lol I still might. Thanks guys, this gives me an idea of what you want to see. Any more ideas are welcome.

    Re: Submit Late-Night Rotation

I’m usually gaming late night, so I am one of your customers (sort of speak). I don’t necessarily have requests though... but noticed that big Shuia/Verdun/Minsk always hits the population pretty hard. When one of those maps come up late night, we usually see a flock of players leaving. Other maps don’t seem to be affected like that. So my pointer would be to get those out of the rotation and replace them with small versions...

And while on the subject, I am not a big fan of I-O. The heart of the Battlefield games is the idea that you can perform anything from commander to grunt to support to tank driver to rorsh operator to gunship pilot, etc... So to me it goes against the nature of the game to play I-O. And since the smaller versions of the maps have very few vehicles anyway (for example, I think 16p Belgrade has only a battle walker), why not leave them in.

    My 2 census :¬)

Isn't that reason enough to run Minsk?
I mean, if runs after you, it saves you the trouble of having to hunt Zhohar down.

    Re: Submit Late-Night Rotation

Inf. only is useful at night when the server pop is between 10 and 25. An APC can easily dominate the 16p map. However, some maps like 16p verdun are really fun with vehicles. I'm gonna give a rotation a go this evening and see how it runs. Stay tuned in TS for details as the night goes on.

What's the deal with Minsk, why does everybody dislike it? (I have never played it)

Minsk is the choke point of all choke points. If PAC cannot get through the front line right away, it becomes a horrific stand off with EU having way too much armor and cover and PAC getting... how to put this... bent over and

    Re: Submit Late-Night Rotation

Well to make a long bloody ugly humiliating story short...
Minks has a 20% chance to become a fun round if PAC manage to break through, but most of the time the gunship, the APCs Tanks and Walker will keep you away from doing that so you spend the entire round running against a flag which is easy to defend and with that high amount of armor the EU side has you would more likely kill yourself while making your morning-coffee instead of losing that flag
Infantry only has a 25% chance to become a good round i assume. Less APCs shelling the crap out of you
