Re: bf2 Vanilla or POE anyone?
I am currently reinstalling BF2 - have a very low level soldier and have only played it a few times, so should be fun.

Re: bf2 Vanilla or POE anyone?
Got hooked on the Fallout 3 DLC's for a bit and look! the whole 2142 world falls apart while I'm gone. So I found my copy of BF2 and I'm going to reinstall it so I can rejoin the TG fun... since it is the only way to really play multiplayer games online.
So don't smack me too hard for my ignorance...
Is it easy to install POE for BF2?
and is it easy to switch between BF2 vanilla and POE?
I've never used a mod for the battlefield series so I'm just checking, don't wanna find empty POE servers and need to do some crazy uninstall to play vanilla.
Cheers.

Re: bf2 Vanilla or POE anyone?
Volvo, you'll have a separate desktop icon for starting either BF2 Vanilla or POE. While the POE mod does use the main BF2 game files to run, it doesn't do anything wacky to your Vanilla installation. You just use the appropriate icon for the one you want to play. No need to un-install/re-install anything when switching back and forth between the two.

Re: bf2 Vanilla or POE anyone?
Or after playing a few rounds in BF2 you can go to the menu and click on "Community" "Custom Games" and you can launch POE2 from there!
