they already announced that the patch will include Northern Stike for all players. Thus it will be free for the expansion. It should breathe a little life into the game again.

The one guy who is needed for the patch is still patching BC2. Most and fastest patched BF game ever i believe

Well it does unfortunately seem the BF2142 is at or near its end. Over the last 5 days or so, I don't think I have had a game on the TG server. The most people I have seen on at any one time during those days was 5 and the last 3 days not a single person on. Even the other servers are down considerably. Was fun while it lasted

NOO!!!!! ughhh this is a depressing day.....and yes TG did have some AMAZING rounds. I wish i had joined the 2142 party sooner, i only got 10 months of it! hahaha bye 2142! (i love the gunships haha)

I'll actually don't think bf1242 is dead just yet.

The patch is coming and there is plenty of TG members playing BC2 right now who wants to play some more 2142 with NS maps on the server just waiting for the patch.

It will never be anything like it used to be tho.

well i had some great times on bf2142 on the tg server but for now the server looks dead and now i moved on the project reality with the other guys i even made freinds with a fellow named BigGaayAl

We had a pretty good time tonight...Fall of Berlin and then a great round of Tunis, that the server crashed in the middle of! But we got about 20 players on! We even had some great teamplay moments...thanks Martha_Hyer!

The best is classic 13v13 with 2 squads + a commander.

Like Abel said I wouldn't cut off 2142 from the active gaming world. If you ask me a lot of people will return to play with the new patch. You just have to understand that the BC2 hype is over the charts with MW2 players also switching over. After a few months when the BC2 hype goes down and the awesome patch comes out with free maps it should provide with new life.

We just have to hold on, play something else for the time being and that's it (I switched to BC2). 2142+BC2 = a dose of epic gaming
