Last night was awesome, but I'm hoping it's just the beginning of something all us 2142 players like - a well-timed revive .

Only reason people stopped playing was the server lag + BC2 releasing at the same time. I'm not the only one who is hoping that now, seeing how many people still enjoy playing this great game, we can really get this server and TG2142 community back going again. We could just try and populate only a few nights a week, but personally I think that's a sign that a game is on its way to death, and with the crowd we drew yesterday (with some notified seeding, not even a proper event), with this being the newest true Battlefield game to be released and with a fresh patch with NS for everyone plus even more new maps, it looks like there's plenty of life in the old dog yet.

We can still have special nights (I believe tonight is a metamucil night meaning a few E1st and Irregs might be playing tonight), but there isn't a reason why TG2142 can't be as popular as it was before the server lag hit. Many of those players are still here and still really like this game, all it takes is for the community to say no to the games that have been released lately, which haven't been up their standards, and say "Battlefield 2142 is the game I want to play when I want an evening of awesome FPS gaming"...
