How many people play now on average??
Well, Jack, I would like you to rejoin the community. Honestly, we need and would like as many of our old comrade in arms to battle us in 2142...
This does not mean the situation is bleak, though most of the TG'ers I see on our server consist of the E1st, the Irregs, free agents, and some guys from the Mth.
Our server population each night varies and depends on how many people are willing to seed the server. It might be best for you to install 2142 and make sure you keep an eye on the server population if you are not as serious and dedicated to the point of seeding the server.
Most of the time, our server does not hit the full mark, but on the weekends, it tends to get busy. Normally when I play, it tends to be around the half way mark...
Hello Jack.
Havent met you yet even though we are part of the same IHS. So nice to meet you. I joined 101st about 5 months ago.
I play on regular basis. Best nights seems to be fridays and saturdays, but sometimes on other nights also. And yes you should install the game again.
Hope to see you on the battlefield.

The game usually gets on during Fridays and Saturdays. On those days, 20v20 is common. On other days, the server is empty.
Apart from tonight, it's not full but there are people on right now having small squad v squad (pretty much) games, which I find pretty un, as I'm not much of a - die for no apparent reason, then get revived in the open, repeat - kind of guy.
We had some good although slightly one sided rounds tonight. As others said the weekends are normally more popular. The Irr and E-1st try to get the server going Tuesday nights with mixed success.

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
