many moons ago I installed 2142, up till that time I was a PR hoe, I quickly became a 2142 hoe in the worst way. I get up, send the kids off to school, do the house hold stuff, cleaning, shopping, wash. Then I jump on TG's server for 4 -5 hours till the kids came home. after diiner and dishes and their bedtime, I was back fragging till the wee hours of the morning, 0300 or so, I spent about 12 plus hours a day 2142ing. I didn't advance quickly in rank or unlocks because I suck (and still do lol) but I always had a blast each round.
Computer problems arose along with health issues. I been MIA for over a year now.
well I finally got back online for 2142 this week I been over at the DIG (doorman is god) servers, tho the TG server did finally have some folks on it last night for a while.

The kids are all gone now, my son is in his second year of college, my daughter, well I am not going say much except that I have not seen her since Sept. 2008 when she was 15.
No life, no friends, just my long time girlfriend Deb.
Lots of time to frag

My game still sucks, but I am still having a blast like I use to moons ago.
So if ya over at DIG, feel free to run up and stab me in the back and say "hello fetterman, long time no see, thanks for the dog tags!"

Yes I used to be a 2142 hoe, and even after all this time away...

I still am!

Welcome back Fetterman, I will be looking forward to seeing you in game. Add me to your buddy list in game. I typically play after 7pm EST during the week. I am sure the other regulars will identify themselves. I cannot speak for everyone but most of us play later at night North American times.

These are just my personal opinions and do not reflect those of the TG community but I would recommend playing on some servers other than DIG. Their servers are good for large battle but it seems that in order to be successful on that server you need to pod onto roofs and be an RDX whore (if you havent guess I dont play long there). Sadly our server only seems to be active on Fridays...*crosses fingers for patch*.

So I have joined TG while you were MIA. Nice to see people coming back to 2142 maybe we can get our server running more often. Add me to your buddylist. There are some of us Euros still playing also kicking US players butts =).
I usually play on DEFR server. They have similar rules tha TG and active admins so you will get good teamplay there and a lot of TGers are playing there also.

I am back now after a six month hiatus and have played a few rounds the past couple nights. (Thanx to some of the E1st and Ireggs making a showing!)

The best thing to do if you long for the TG games of yore is to sit in the TG 2142 TS3 channel, even if you're playing another server or game. That way we can get enough people together who want a TG game without having to idle seed.

Howdy sgt., you can find me in TS-2142 most of time when I am playing. I play on DEFR most of time, but keep in mind that for us US people, it is kinda laggy. You need to adjust a lot. But once you get use to it, it's kinda fun. Later.

I joined TG during your hiatus but I'll come visit at DIG

You'll find me on 2142 a few nights a week, UK time though. Like FIN and headqd I find DEFR a decent bunch. TBG Northern Strike is good too if you have the add on.

It's always good to have some crazy 8 chaos around. We only had about 8 a side while I was on but they were intense games.

@BrownCoat2000: I don't know how to control a pod to get to a roof top, lol, when I launch from a APC I go whenever the dam pod takes me. I also play 99% support with the ganz hmg and rdx shotty. the shotty I use as a mini mortor. at DIG I lone it and support where help is needed most.

I will check out the DEFR server soon, right now I'm recompiling a linux kenral, hehe still learning from many mistakes on this, it might even work this time LMAO!.

As for friday nights, I don't play past 2000 hrs EST anymore, so hopfully TG's is going before that. And yes I have NS. tho I never got to play it much.

Nope it's not broken, I had it on but I didn't say anything.
Besige knows the whole story behind why I don't speak up anynmore. I always had a bad speach problem, vowles and certains letters (R is a bad one for me) I never cound prounce very well. I had a op and due to the things that required me to have it, I was losing use of my voice, I am just lucky I can speak at all now days.
