Informal poll- How many times a week would you want level 1 or 2 unlocks only?

I for one enjoyed the level 1 scrim practice settings on Friday afternoon and evening. It was refreshing to be able to use cover effectively and having to rely on your assault rifle at medium to long range. I also liked that the lmgs got a nice workout as they are usually overshadowed by the shotgun and ganz. Without rockets they were actually pretty effective! Getting to the party late so to speak I never saw how this game was when it was first starting out and this gave me a welcome glimpse into the way this game was once played. It really is a whole new game!

On to the poll business, just post which option you would like for the servers in the future.

    ( ) never I like my rockets
( ) for a little bit of time on one day
( ) for a bit of time every day
( ) one day a week dedicated to this
( ) multiple days a week dedicated to limited unlocks
( ) all the time, it's the best thing ever

I loved the level1 12v12. IT'S EVEN BETTAR THAN TITAN!!

Lack of IDS means you have to control your squad better. Defense means zone control. Offense has greater emphasis on manuevering to highground and behind enemies.

Lack of IDS and rockets makes cover more effective

Lack of sprint/tier 2 weapons gives an interesting balance between EU and PAC. EU generally starts in a better position (closer to flags, or on defense), but has worse weapons (Gorhaut, the SCAR SAWWWWKS. So does their LMG)

Now that I've played without it, it seems that the existence of rockets and IDS detracts from my 2142 experience

Yadda yadda yadda had a great time with it, would like to see it alot more frequently

It certaintly will make you a better shooter, and you will play a more tight-action game.

And you will avoid the usual "sit here and spam rockets all the time from 100-200 m".

You guys could also have a Clanmod night. It is basically the same thing, plus it forces the game to be flag by flag and use the small 16 player version maps only. You have had things like this before a couple of times:

But I only think that this arrangement will work out ones a week, or ones a month, due to lag of players and activity. Plus it also makes the server unranked, which means new public players will not join.

For me it's a fun change, but only for a while. I get frustrated at the speed and lack of kit

I really do like it, really suits my playstyle and what I enjoy, and the simplicity allows some more creativity since there's no IDS instantly wallhacking so that everyone can see everyone else, but also no cloak means it's not too easy to sneak/hide either. However since it makes it unranked and not everyone likes it, i would be a good way to kill the server if we did it permanently/to often, but I think it's better to dedicate a day (even if it's not weekly, but bi-weekly or monthly like Remi said) because people can be there any time on that day if they really like this style, as opposing to worrying that they have to be there at a particular time and that they might miss it.

I agree with jazy. For an hour or 2 once a week.

I go with couple of hours a week. Preferably on Friday or Saturday when the server usually gets seeded.

I'd rather not restrict unlocks usage.

    But not necessarily every week.

I really like the fact that you need to work more as a team and need to be aware of your surroundings.
