Discussion: Battlefield 2142 / Battlefield 2142 - General Discussion - Unofficial v1.51 changelog - As changelog is not included in the patch and probably will not be released I
As changelog is not included in the patch and probably will not be released I made a compilation of changes that are supposed to be done (comparing to v1.50). All quotations are from messy posts of Bazajaytee of DICE from UK EA forums if not stated otherwise. I haven't played beta, so I don't know what was really done.
ADDITIONS:
* Operation Blue Pearl – Supply Lines by Björn Sundell and Jason Brice
* Strike at Karkand 2142 – Conquest by Jason Brice
* Molokai – Titan by Jason Brice
* Yellow Knife – Supply Lines by Jason Brice
<I suppose Supply Lines = Assault Lines>
Northern Strike booster pack maps and content are now free
<3 maps, 2 vehicles, 10 unlocks, 11 awards>
support for the Novint Falcon controller
REMOVALS:
DRM from the exe file so you don't need EADM running in the background or the DVD in your disc drive.
FIXES:
extra account security fixes
We have also fixed an exploit which some were using to crash servers which we think accounts for most of the instability out there on servers at the minute.
fix for nVidia drivers to solve tinitus visual effect
The exe is set to be able to use more than 2GB RAM yes. Whether it did as it was told is another matter
Hit detection bug fix: Changed so that latency compensation history takes correct stored positions from buffer
Updated as_titan_wake.tweak to allow for two attack choppers instead of the one previously allowed
<I suppose attack choppers = gunships>
Jason Brice who made us Operation Shingle (...) fixed the bridge glitch on
The UAV (...) shouldn't detroy the Titans anymore.
Niklas fixed the transport chopper camera and model where when you jumped into the side guns your view would invert and so would the gun model.
<"this issue is directly related to fixing the EU Gunner. If all goes as planned, that EU gunner issue will be resolved." – from Jason Brice>
I think we made a fix for the grey screen
<about background bug in first score screen for Operation Shingle>
nice, thanks. do somebody know if they fixed the IDS bug?
or is it within that one? "We have also fixed an exploit which some were using to crash servers which we think accounts for most of the instability out there on servers at the minute."
Eight months later I finally received the reports from three peer-reviews on my latest manuscript with the University of Toronto Press. This will be my third book with the same press and the second...

Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...
