It was indeed a good squad with PM as leader at TG vs DEFR scrimmage. So the squad leader is not awarded as a part of the unit?

This ribbon can only be nominated by SL or CO and I believe maybe fireteam leader etc. It's different for other games with different formats. So not a secret..
