I would be interested in playing this game with an organized group, but sadly the community is small and dying. So anyone still play?

Yes.

It's only dying because people who apparently hate BC2/lack of VoIP/lack of command structure/lack of maps that aren't either triangles or 3-flag lines, can't get enough of playing BC2.

It confuses me.

Yes we still play. And if your interested in working in an organised group, this is the place to do it! The server is not always seeded, but keep checking. Friday night it should be good! Then add us all to your friends list in-game to find us during quiet times

I would get on But every time i try and get into a game by comp blue screens and i am back to square one Oo. i have add this problem for AGES. I mean when BF2142 was populated, a lot. So i have never really been able to play it. PB's set up - works fine. Updates work fine. Loads fine. Starts to play game - Crashes. So not a clue what is wrong tbh. :[ i would play but i can't Oo

You likely need to completely wipe 2142 off your system, delete the 2142 folder in My documents and clear the registry of 2142. Then reinstall 2142. This solved similar issues with my installation.

2142, unfortunately I think will end up dieing sooner or later but I reckon you could still get a few good years out of it.
It is my second most favourite BF series game behind the BF1942 + BF1942 expansions.

I don't want to do some old-man-sitting-on-his-porch-saying-"Back in my day..." but I hope that future BF games will be like the traditional battlefield, aircraft, vehicles, infantry...
Everything (except the naval warfare unless they [Creators of BF] wanted to go back to WW2, which would be odd).

BC, although I realise it's a different franchise, I'm hoping that BF games do not turn into the console-type nature that is BC2.
