Turning an enemy IDS to your side.
Thought i make this little secret public. Just to make sure no one is calling the IDS overpowered again.
A IDS-1 Infantry Detection Sonar can be a game breaker when used properly, but can also be turned against you.
Yes, you read it right. The same IDS that showed you were your enemy was can also be used against you, so be very carefull where you plant it.
To do this, you first need to pick up an enemy support kit of the ground. Fully restock your equipment using the ammo box and select the IDS. If the soldier used his IDS, it will now show up on the mini-map. If you are lucky, it will show up in the middle of an enemy squad.

It surprises me that no one else ever reported this, because i have known this for about a year now. A select few also knew about it.
It's easier now to go look for a support kit then the IDS.
