    New BF2142 Trailer(Actual Ingame Footage)

    Hey Guys,

    This is my first time posting here on TG. And I just wanted to say that I love this server it is so much fun.

    As the title notes this is actual ingame footage from BF2142. To me it looks a lot like a nice BF2 mod but I am still going buy it. I can't wait to play it on TG.

    looks tasty... If it is gonna be like destroy the other team's mothership or something i am in...

    But i remember Special Forces' trailer too... they were cool like that but nothing bu Domination mode.


    Still I am gonna buy it.

    Yea, that's what was mentioned in that gamespot preview that was released elsewhere. Sounds like an interesting game mode for sure. A welcome change from conquest.

    On the one hand, I don't wanna keep plopping down money for EA's buggy games, on the other hand, I'm a sucker for anything battlefield and know I'll buy it.

    I'm not impressed. With the ET:QW trailer being out for who knows how long, releasing something like this just doesn't cut it, in my book. It's revolting they're even releasing this when their current game is by almost all opinions - not quite finished. Are they trying to prove we'll buy anything?

    But if you think of it this way - BF:2 has some serious flaws like the IFF bug, tanks damaged by driving, phantom missiles, misrepresented hit boxes, poor TK assignment, and a lot of other stuff that we don't have time to mention. Those problems may require some serious engine revamping so maybe this is exactly what needed to happen.

    I don't believe for a second that that's actual in-game footage. Furthermore, my odds of getting this game just dropped about 90%; and they weren't that good to begin with. Boo EA.

    Uh, what? It looks like ingame footage to me. You can even see someone dolphin dive off the exploding ship in the end.

    a nope. And it goes both ways. the arcady gamers dont play GR or SWAT cause when you die you wait until the round is over, and heaven forbid you actually have to use tactics.

    Back to the thread, I really think EA/Dice hit the jackpot on this BF2 engine. Its really very powerfull in the modding sence, and the gaming sence. I think EA is gonna try and milk it dry with alot of games coming out of the FPS nature. It has a few, what we would call problems, features that EA/Dice seem to enjoy. But again this game looks like a complete mod to BF2
    that sounds like a good idea trooper.
