    Notice though the "unlockable weapons" are back? Means we will not have access to the weapons unless we have a ranked server

    I am concerned about this:

    "Players will be able to switch out weapons and equipment, eventually making use of 40 unlockable items.

    It seems that a new option will be to "equip" your charaters. The concept sounds great and I am all for it, but it also reads to me in the interviews that you will have to EARN unlocks. How much of a problem is that going to present in TG community. I for one have never played public servers, nor do I wish to, but I also have never earned any unlocks...is the admin prepared to deal with this for 2142?

    Mabey just run our own server, unlock all of the stuff, and who cares if its delisted (well, I care, but if it hurts teamplay, then fine)? We have the BF2 server thats bringing in new members every day.

    well we honestly dont know. Im sure there will be some unlocks and what have you. Im confident that the admins will do whats best for the community. Well just have tow ait and see. Im so stoked for this game though.

    Well, I'm just saying that if you can only use C4 or trip mines or something if you have to unlock them, then that won't be fun.

    Exactly. I imagine the equivalent of a M-16, knife, and grenades,...want something more, play ranked server and earn unlocks...hopefully I'm just paranoid. Like snail said, i guess we have to wait and see.
