    October / November release? Better start saving for a computer upgrade.. My GF6600 ain't gunna cut it.

    I may try to get a 6800gt or something before then, I don't want to spend to much money, since I'll be building a computer sometime in 07.

    if it can handle BF2 it should handle 2142.

    I still think a 6800, will do justice for this game and quake wars. Good enough for me, until my new my computer.

    Nice vid! No worries guys, by the time the game came out, the mide range 7XXX would be cheap enough, or go ATI. A X800GTO is selling for 109 at newegg.

    nice things i found out from that article -

    - Medics are now part of the assault kit as you know, but you cant throw down packs like in BF2. Instead its some sort of thing that heals all allies in a certain radius. I think thats awesome.

    - Defibrilators are an unlock. Given how easy (supposedly) you get unlocks in 2142 (because theres so many of them), i dont think that this is a problem as all medics will likely choose this as their first unlock. We seriously need to go ranked for this. Think about it, if medics cant revive, whats the use? Plus, if youre worried of people having unfair advantages with unlocks when someone else doesnt...i dont think this will be an issue. With the amount of time we'll put into this, im sure most, if not all of use will be able to outfit our favorite kit however we want. Think about it - if you love playing sniper...use your first unlocks for the recon kit, if you love medic, use your unlocks for the assault kit, and so on. Seriously, please consider this.

    - I LOVE those little mines that track armor. Thats gotta be a real nightmare for tankers.

    All in all, everything i hear just makes me want it more...

    We seriously need to see what EA is going to do for folks like us who insist on running our servers OUR WAY. I have no problem with the ranking system as long as I don't have to spend all of my time policing Rank Monkies (TM).

    this is true icky. If they can somehow allow unranked servers to use whichever unlocks we designate then im all for it. Although im not too sure they would do this, cuz then everyone will get to see all the unlocks right away, which im sure they dont want. Im glad to hear youre open about the idea though. Maybe if we do go ranked, a few more admins could be nominated to help?
