Probably time to make the list of what your retail names are going to be. Mine will be the same as beta name.

Well it doesn't matter for my name now. I can't even play it. It says my activation period has expired and it wants me to enter a new code which I do not have. Oh well, when does the demo come out?

the beta closed now so that may be a problem. hopefully the demo will be out in a few weeks and hopefully itll be a map other than verdun lol

This was a good thread for the beta
For BF2142 I suggest we do the same
new thread titled "Buddy List BF2142" & its a sticky
first post clearly links to tacticalwiki and states procedure
1. new person posts in thread
2. those that can update in tacticalwiki, add the name and post in thread thats its done
3. new person has the responsibility of doing buddy invites to the list, just saying "TG" in reason for invite
first post in the thread also explains clearly how to search on wildcards etc and not to exclude prefix
In fact a thread much like this one

I have cleared the list of names to avoid any out of date names once the game is released, and have also made a new template for adding new users.

Away bonus sounds interesting....earn like points for not playing? guess they are trying to deal with the whole split between people who have a ton of time to play and those that do not.

glad to hear its gonna be a new map. Yea the away bonus is nice. Anyone who has played WoW knows what it is.

Does anyone know if the buddy list from the Beta will transfer to the Demo and to the final version the Game?

I would imageine so, I think they are just resetting the stats and not actually deleteing all the users.
