It's actually not too tough to understand. It just gets really confusing when people have multiple bf2 names.... Hopefully this helps: (I couldn't update original post) Quote:
So for you dice, everything was good up until step4. According to your results from step one, you have this account:Account name: Dicemannow then if you're playing with a BF2 name "Diceman", you must have a second account.... I suspect it's this based on what you said about EA Downloader working: Account name: Diceman0001 Use steps 1-3, to verify that "Diceman" is the BF2 name associated with Account name "Diceman0001". |

This is so confusing, I posted a poll on TG Naming Conventions should we choose to follow a consistent profile.

Re: Battlefield 2/2142 Veteran Program Open!
The main thing here to do, is either A. figure out your EA Account name, you've already got one if you downloaded the Booster packs. Or B. Just create a new EA account on the form you fill out, then input it there. Now just try to remember your BF2 account password.
It's really not to confusing guys. ![]() |

And "Nemesis" is taken as I expected, so I'm debating on how I want my name to be put in. If we're going to use the game's clan tag option, I'm not sure I want to put a "TG" in my name as well. [TG] NemesisTG seems rather redundant..... decisions, decisions....and a main reason why I love and hate reserved name options.

Re: Battlefield 2/2142 Veteran Program Open!
Ok, I think I figured out the problem people are having....
Quote:
IE: Someone playing BF2 already has "Nemesis" so only that person can reserve it early for 2142. Now if they don't take it by the cut off deadline, it will be free come launch day for me to try and snag. All this early reservation thing is doing is letting you reserve a name you ALREADY HAVE and not something new. The only way you'll be able to get a new name is if it's never been taken by a BF2 player. The major downside for most of us is we have self made tags in with our name, and the characters we used aren't being accepted under the reservation process. Which pretty much sucks if you aren't holding the untagged name as well as your tagged one.... Hope that helps.

Yes, your EA account is your main login name. Then like Nem, said it comes to your soldier name. Which won't excist until you create it. |

You won't get veteran status by your name, or the free unlock. Its so simple man. lol You've got all the info, now just enter and hit submit. It was easy. |
