Buddy List - BF2142

Official TG Buddy List for BF2142

The buddy list system is a new feature in Battlefield 2142 that enables a player to see in the menu menu of BF2142 if their friends are online,
what server they are on and then double click to join that server. Its like simple Xfire functionality, built into the game.

Procedure for adding your name to the buddy list;

New player posts their BF2142 player name (excluding prefix*) in this forum thread
Those that can update TacticalWiki buddy list, do so and post back here that its done
New player has the responsibility of sending buddy invites to the list of TG players, just putting ‘TG’ in the buddy invite text
Existing TG BF2142 players accept invites
We can now see all the TG players ingame, easy !

* Buddy list search works on playername and does not use the clan prefix.
Eg ‘TG7th Troublesome4u’, the 5 character prefix ‘TG7th’ is excluded.
So just the playername ‘Troublesome4u’ should be on our TacticalWiki buddy list.

They did a nice job with the Buddy List and the server browser/functions in general - world's away from the BF2 interface. The Buddy List is very easy to use.

UnDeaD77 in retail. (I think). Thanks to not getting a confirmation email when you signed up on the vets program.

I know for sure its "UnDeaD" in the demo right now though.

As far as I'm aware, I reserved ThePenguineer through the veteran's program.

But, with EA, you can never be too sure.

I am going to clear the list again on retail, everyone seems to be using different from their reserved names.
