Demo doesn't work?
I downloaded the demo from the TG site, installed it successfully, but as soon as I try to start it up I get an error message saying that BF2142.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Anyone know what would be causing this? I meet all the minimum system requirements as far as I know, and BF2 and POE still work just fine.

Have you tried updating DirectX?

Someone told me you need to update your directx for BF2142 to work correctly. Install it to an empty folder then click setup. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

I googled for the name of the missing DLL, something like dxd9_29.dll and found a site that had a small installer for exactly that DLL.
