Re: Thoughts on BF2142
I can see that, but then again on maps like Shihua it feels like you often have to do a lot of walking (or driving) to get anywhere. The maps do seem smaller than BF2 maps, but it's not necessarily abad thing -- belgrade, for example, seems like one of the smaller ones and it's fantastic, mostly because its small size makes for some memorable defences and assaults.
There are still maps I've barely experienced though, so I'm sure my opinion could change.2142: |TG-Irr| Silverfish

Re: Thoughts on BF2142
I picked the game up yesterday and I am enjoying it, but the communication is nothing like what I experience in PoE2, TacMod, or BF2 and is left to be desired. Once the unlock tree starts growing for me, it will get fun (and already has). 5 tanks/apc's were victims of my RDX the 2nd round I had played of 2142. The dead bodies sliding across the floor on the titan were quite funny to watch, but the lag wasn't funny.

Hmm, not too impressed that the red name bug is still htere. I lost 15+ points to a guy who just loved punishing me, even when I explained he appeared on my screen as an enemy. Dork.

Nah, I think he was justified in this case, though it was annoying. If I'd have been on the receiving end I'd have been tempted to punish for repeat offences too.
