Walker Operation Question
Okay so I've pretty much figured out the walker, but there's still one question. One side has a walker with a multiple Manually Guided rocket secondary fire. That's fine. But the other side has this seemingly useless single missile that shoots out and arcs upwards (secondary fire). Is this for air ? If so, how do you get lock ons ? What is the point of this function ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Quote from the official 2142 site
EU battlewalker (http://bf2142fever.com/content/L-5_RIESIG):
.....Position 2 controls the MG (primary weapon) and the guided EMP missiles mounted on top of the Battle Walker. The primary role of the secondary position is to fight off infantry and air targets above the line of fire for the pilot protecting the pilot and his ride. Both positions located inside the Battle Walker, protected from snipers and regular bullet fire.

They look exactly the same to me.--

Re: Walker Operation Question
no he means the drivers missiles. They are exactly the same. You can fire about 6 or so in rapid succesion before you need to recharge. they are dumfire but it helps to keep the cursor over your target. The closer you are, the more rockets will hit. A good tactic is to try to ambush them. When you see a tank coming up, wait behind something then when they get close, pop out, throw on active defense and unload. Kill every time.
