    From what I read of the rules, the only thing that is much different from our TG ROE is kicking for a supporting member. I do not see anywhere were an admin would not be able to kick for an SM if they asked on Teamspeak...or am I reading that wrong?

    A disruptive player is one that is interferring from a supporting member getting on the server.. I'm sure there's no problem with kicking disruptive players, right? It's all down to how you interpret their rules

    But, we won't have any access to the server to even upload the script, so it would all have to be done manually. Call for an admin on TS, wait for the admin to hide in a corner, hope the admin recognizes you name as a SM or wait for your name to be looked up, wait for the admin to find someone to kick, hope you can get that spot that was just made. Not so easy.

    gonna be really fun those first weeks seeing all those posts about all this stuff. I hope people will be relize the admins are gonna do everything they can to make it go smoothly

    I think having the rules clearly stated on the banner ad when the server is clicked on and when the map is loading is critical and will help ward off players we don't want playing. That also applies for the ticker that rotates on the screen during play. If we can perhaps have them even more eye catching that would be a plus.

    For the players that are there to play, this will let them know that they are at the right server and gives a good idea of what TG is all about. For the players who don't, it will serve as a warning that they are not welcome nor welcome back and it's time they left the game.

    That's how I found TG playing BF2, the rules were clearly stated in banner ad and during the loading of the map. There will be players who will read the rules and play by them. We just need to make sure they are seen.

    So how will un ranked servers work? Has this been stated?

    Will they have no unlocks at all? Allow unlocks already gained in unranked servers? Or just have it all open?

    yeah any unlockes you get will be useable on the unranked. Kind of the idea, have the ranked server because the game is geared to be ONLY ranked to be effective then you go on our other unranked to use your unlocks

    It seems as though it will be like BF2; a setting on the server will allow or disallow weapons earned through rank unlocks.

    Here is what would happen in the early days of play here at TG BF2 before automated reserved slots:

    "Hey, is there an admin on teamspeak?"
    "Yeah, I'm here"
    "Um, I'd like to get on the server"
    "Who is this?"
    "MadDog"
    "MadDog, are you a supporting member?"
    "Uh, yeah"
    "Ok, gimme a sec"
    (admin looks up and down list of 64 players on the server, hoping to see if he can recognize someone by name who is not already a supporting member)
    ...
    "Alright, I kicked someone, try joining now"
    "Cool, thanks"
    ...
    "It says the server is still full"
    "Crap, that means someone else joined.. let me look for another"
    ...
    "Alright, try again NOW! GOGOGO!"

    etc....

    And that was when our community was 1/5th the size it is now. I think it'd be very optimistic to expect reserved slots to be available on the ranked server here.

    I think what he means is , why not just unlock all the weapons?
    1) Not sure if that is possible
    2) I think that would get us delisted.

    The hack to unlock all unlocks for everyone is not even possible anymore.

    If you study the way that works, you'll see that it does not work well for a community like ours. There are many threads on the PBF forums discussing the limitations of EA's reserved slot system.
