...and Hello from me...
Just signed up in order to learn from the immense strategic/tactic knowledge built up on this site.
Have been playing Team Fortress (my favorite) years ago, followed by Counterstrike, although less than on TFC. Haven't been shooting online since the last 3-4 years until I recently bought BF2142. Got my first promotions and badges (armor) in the first 2 hours of play. Still find BF2142 way more complicated than TFC or CS. Getting to know the maps and distinquish team mates and foes is the first difficulty. Anyways, I like the promotion/award thingie and it keeps me trying for harder. Hope to see ya around on the battlefields and please appologize my noob questions in the future. Cheers DesertRat09 |

Wow! Everytime I check the "Hi" thread I'm amazed at the number of quality players that have discovered TG thru BF 2142. Great to see.
TG is not a clan, just a group of players who are, above and beyond all else, interested in teamwork. There are no requirements to join TG though becoming a paying supporting member does add benefits, such as reserved slots on the servers. Please read our rules which can be found in the BF 2142 section. Again, welcome all!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Recently been hanging around your servers and thought i'd pop in a note. You really haven't played battlefield 2142 until you've played it the way you do on your servers. Huzzah

Hola Muchachos
Hey, great forums, I'm a member of the 52nd Combat Group Battlefield Clan.
Was looking for some info about the gunship TV missiles in 2142 and found it here via Google, so I thought I'd register. See you all around the forums and on the battlefield. I've been into online gaming since MechWarrior (the original, not the crap that MicroSoft turned it into later, LOL), which I played on my 733mhz PC with 1GB of memory which was oooohhh sooo fast, back in the day.... Like a few others, I joined the forums because the threads there cover a lot of great issues and learning. I just started playing before Christmas so my son and I could get online together. We played a lot of in-home LAN games last year and now we're branching out. He's ranks above me so my first lesson was that there are invisible snipers running around all over the place - argh! I just upgraded my RAM and video card this week and my accuracy (and scores) have improved a lot. I'm going for the Baur AR now and may try my hand on the TG servers at some point when I get more confident... / PR
