Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Hey guys, Im new to the forum and have really enjoyed playing in your squads on the TG 2142 server and wanted to be a part of this community. I'm also hoping to get better and learn about how yall have everything organized (i.e. I see |TG-9th| a lot and would like to know how to become more like some of those guys).

see yall on the field.

Those tags (TG-9th, TG-Irr, etc) are what we call in house squads. They are players that have joined together to play on a regular basis. The in-house squads require that you be a supporting member with the exception of the Irregulars (the TG-Irr tag). Information on the in-house squads can be found here:
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/wiki/in...p/TG_Sponsored

If you are interested in the Irregulars then you can find out more information here:
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/wiki/in...The_Irregulars

And finally read over the server rules and SOP's when you get a chance. Have fun!

That's really cool and it's something I've been looking for.

Anyways, I hope to drop by when I get off work and join up and have some fun! So here's to good times ahead! Cheers!
There are indeed a great group of people around here. Read over the server rules and SOP's when you get a chance. Also if you have any questions in game feel free to ask anyone with a "TG" tag. Welcome!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

Been looking for a good group that plays all the games I play, and play them maturally and strategically! I play Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Day of Defeat:Source, Raven Shield, R6:Vegas, Natural Selection, and a lot of other games. I love teamwork, strategy, and tactics.

Looking forward to playing some games with you guys!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

I've been playing in the TG server a lot lately and been having a lot of fun. It's nice to see a group of people working together in this game instead of running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. I look forward to playing with all of you in the future and learning what I can from what looks like a very talented group.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Hello all, I'm new to the forums, and have been playing BF 2142 for about 2 weeks now. After seeing you guys in the TG server, I have to say.. Its good to fine a group that doesn't do some of the immature things that other clans seem to do. ^^ I hope I get to learn from all of you.

Welcome Waffle, Reap, Dillinger, Boulder, and Silon to TG 2142. I've seen a few of you guys on the battlefield the past few days, and have enjoyed playing with / against you. Make sure you guys get a chance to read the Official Rules, Announcements, and SOPs.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Hey!

I like being Squad Leader sometimes and when I have good players around me, mostly TG players, I just stick to Squad Member. My rank isn't that good but its ok. I am Corporal Gold. Just about 100 points to go until Lance Corporal Silver.

And hey all.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Hello,
I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I am new to online gaming and man I glad that I ran across the tactical game server. I have been on since just after Christmas and I have noticed several themes on some of the other servers. Evidently you should run around the map like a brain damaged test monkey and shoot at every thing that moves. Teammates, thats ok, they moved therefor you should shoot them. Lack of direction, refer to brain damaged monkey comment above. The F-word seems to be pretty popular. Listen, I use it all the time. It's very versital. But I don't need to here it every time somebody gets popped. How about sharing some useful info like "There is a dude sneaking up to you with a knife".

I have really had a good time playing on this server. The sqaud leaders are great. Good instructions and teamwork mindset. It makes a big difference when playing with a gameplan and good communication. Need me to "Defend here" ok no problem. Attack that, no sweat. Just let me know. If you can put up with my sloth like reflexes I will follow your orders. See you out there.
