Stumbled on TG a while back, played off and on, decided to get back into 2142 (new pc and all). Love the server and the way TG operates. Keep it up!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Afternoon all, I'm rather new to the game and I'm trying to find a home away from the madness of waving a gun randomly in hopes of scoring some points. Having read the primer and SOP I believe that's here. My concern is what's the learning curve, right now I'm only mildly above spray and pray.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

I found the threads in the tactics section of this forum to be very enlightening, I suggest you read them as you have time. I'm still not that great, but I'm learning a lot quicker than I was before reading some of the threads.

Welcome. There are players of all skill levels here. You will pick it up really quick and if not it will be really fun to play against you Feel free to ask any questions you have as most people here are happy to help.

It's nothing to do with you; it's just an automated script that will kick a player who has been playing on the server the longest AND is not a supporting member (SM), to make room for a SM. I've SL'ed under you before; you CO pretty well, even when I forget to say which squad is reporting.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Hey All. I joined last month, but found this site a few month back when I was new to the game and looking for tips. I've found the membership to be extremely thoughtful in just about every facet of the game. Excellent forums.

New to TG

Hey fellas,
I played with a few of you guys the other day on your server, i have to say i had a blast. I don't remember all the people i played with but luckystrike was one of them. I now always try and log onto the server because i know i'm gonna have a good time. I'd like to get together with some you guys some more for more serious games.
Thanks
